La comparaison des donn\u00e9es multifaisceaux acquises au cours de la derni\u00e8re d\u00e9cennie prouve le contraire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1073\/pnas.2119105119\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Paull et al. (2022)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ont compar\u00e9 les donn\u00e9es cartographiques recueillies par un v\u00e9hicule sous-marin autonome (AUV) lors de r\u00e9cents relev\u00e9s avec les donn\u00e9es cartographiques acquises par le NGCC <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Amundsen <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un sonar multifaisceaux en 2010. Leurs r\u00e9sultats r\u00e9v\u00e8lent des changements morphologiques rapides, tels que le d\u00e9veloppement de nouvelles d\u00e9pressions aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s abrupts jusqu\u2019\u00e0 28 m de profondeur, associ\u00e9s au d\u00e9gel du perg\u00e9lisol sous-marin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019\u00e9tendue et la port\u00e9e de ces changements sur les plateaux arctiques sont encore inconnues, car de multiples relev\u00e9s bathym\u00e9triques sont n\u00e9cessaires pour les identifier.
