L\u2019exp\u00e9dition est aussi une belle opportunit\u00e9 d\u2019en apprendre davantage sur le Nunatsiavut et la culture inuite.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les cinq communaut\u00e9s inuites du Labrador sont situ\u00e9es sur une zone territoriale appel\u00e9e Nunatsiavut, qui signifie Notre Belle Terre. Les \u00e9quipes ont la chance d\u2019avoir \u00e0 bord Michelle Saunders et Carla Pamak, travaillant toutes les deux pour le <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/nunatsiavutresearchcentre.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Centre de recherche du Nunatsiavut<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. En plus d\u2019aider aux op\u00e9rations scientifiques, elles continuent de guider les objectifs de recherche de l\u2019exp\u00e9dition et de partager leur culture et leur histoire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nakummek! (Merci!)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carla (\u00e0 gauche) et Michelle (\u00e0 droite) pendant la visite d\u2019Hebron, un village qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 ferm\u00e9 par le gouvernement et les missionnaires en 1959.
