<h3>LEG 1 &#8211; NRCan Marine Spatial Planning Program<\/h3>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(4 \u2013 15 juillet) Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 St. John\u2019s<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Au cours de ce Leg, les activit\u00e9s ont consist\u00e9 \u00e0 pr\u00e9lever des \u00e9chantillons du fond marin en utilisant diverses techniques telles que les carottes \u00e0 piston, les carottes \u00e0 gravit\u00e9, les carottes \u00e0 bo\u00eete, les bennes, ainsi qu&rsquo;\u00e0 capturer des images du fond marin \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re du jour, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de 6 heures \u00e0 18 heures. De plus, des \u00e9tudes approfondies du fond marin \u00e9taient men\u00e9es en employant un profileur de sous-fond et un \u00e9chosondeur multifaisceau pendant les heures nocturnes, avec des mesures de la vitesse du son enregistr\u00e9es le long de la trajectoire. Ce programme nomm\u00e9 ROV Coral Seep Habitats, dirig\u00e9 par l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Dalhousie en 2021, a \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9 en partenariat avec d&rsquo;autres universit\u00e9s, des minist\u00e8res f\u00e9d\u00e9raux (MPO, RNCan) et des gouvernements locaux. Un total de 302 op\u00e9rations ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9es en 28 jours dans 79 stations dans la baie de Baffin, le d\u00e9troit de Lancaster et \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de Quaqtaq (Nunavik). Le navire a commenc\u00e9 son voyage \u00e0 Resolute Bay le 9 septembre. Au cours des premiers jours, les op\u00e9rations d&rsquo;\u00e9chantillonnage pour ArcticNet et le transit ont eu lieu dans le passage du Nord-Ouest, en passant par l&rsquo;inlet Prince Regent, le d\u00e9troit de Franklin et le d\u00e9troit de Victoria, jusqu&rsquo;au golfe <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">d&rsquo;<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Amundsen<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">et \u00e0 la mer de Beaufort. Les scientifiques ont ensuite men\u00e9 de nombreuses op\u00e9rations dans la mer de Beaufort, tant pour les programmes PeCaBeau que pour ArcticNet, dans plus de 20 stations.
